ソフトバンクグループ(株)【9984】の掲示板 〜2015/04/15

Yamada-denki, Japanese retail discounter just started 600yen 3G 1GB/month NTT SIM card subscription service. I installed that SIM onto 8000yen Vido Chinese 7 inch tablet and now working fine for mail, skype, web, wifi etc. This can potentially destroy current Japanese cell phone price structure that is roughly 10 times as expensive as my setup. Of course to get out of skype, need skype out and extra to receive so only on potential basis. I presume this is a NTT`s strategy to kill Softbank. But note that this can also kill Docomo and AU. As all know, current soft bank balance sheet is backed by borrowing from banks for few trillion yen basis on the assumption that current softbank strategy will remain profitable. But looking at recent challenges from NTT, I wonder if this can be valid in the future.
