proteanTecs、かなり面白い。AI半導体そのものではなく、チップ内部の性能・電力・劣化を監視する“つるはし型”の超ニッチ企業。AI・チップレット時代ほど需要が伸びそう。ここに目を付けたメガチップス。SiTimeを早期に拾った実績を考えると、半導体の「地味だけど重要」を見抜く目利きがいるのかもしれない。

I wasn’t getting any alerts for the price levels I had set, so I checked what was going on. According to the official disclosures, Goldman Sachs（the largest short seller）covered about 231,000 shares of their short position on August 26. On the same day, Merrill Lynch bought back around 1,800 shares.
But with the trading volume at 67,400 shares that day, it’s clear they offset it with their long position and reduced their exposure mostly.
This stock doesn’t really move in line with the SOX index; it’s driven more by trading volume and whether retail investors are paying attention. Besides the ongoing share buyback, the founding family has also been buying shares back (even though they temporarily sold through ToSTNet), which suggests they’re not satisfied with the current share price.
But since this is a low‑profile company, they really need things like a stock split or a dividend increase to attract retail investors. -
