That question got us looking at our own workflows.
AI can help people get the work done faster. But that work still has to move through reviews, handoffs, approvals and dependencies.
We automated the typing. Nobody automated the waiting.
So we audited our own Jira tickets and GitHub PRs to see where the work was actually slowing down.
What we found wasn’t pretty.
And we suspect we’re not the only team asking the same question.
