"The instructors are the only ones who seem to care about the members. Managers and other staff don't seem to be aware of what's going on. When I asked them for help with fixing the problems related to online studio signup, they had no idea what to do. The basic functions of the platform are becoming less and less efficient. Other members have also reported that they keep getting kicked off their signup location on the studio class on the signup app. Furthermore, overcrowding from smaller clubs is now spilling over into the main club I go to, which is making things worse. I'm wondering how bad things will be after the merging of assets between the two companies at the end of March."

Have you considered that the decline in quality of these classes may be due to a lack of funding or resources for the instructors, rather than just their lack of effort or commitment? What about those who argue that the popularity of these classes and the high demand for them justifies the increase in fees and level of training? How would you address those who say that the transition to paid classes is inevitable and necessary for the sustainability of these programs?

I am sorry but you keep changing your name and using multiple Yahoo accounts here. If you don't like it leave, and let everyone express your thoughts.

What about those who argue that the poor quality of service at the Renaissance sports clubs is a temporary issue that will improve in the future? Have you considered the possibility that other sports clubs may offer better service for a similar price point? Owning shares in a below-average company shouldn't be the only service offering preferential tickets. If the quality of the service equals that of the value of preferential tickets equal or below, you are not getting as much value for your investment.

there is a big difference between large-scale sports clubs like Renaissance and this cheap anywhere with a box with space like Rizap. box clubs workout shops will not stay open if the usage doesn't justify the cost. Renaissance has full-time workers. unlike Rizap, which doesn't have contract workers. Neither of the two are good investments or short-term.

When it comes to these companies, Konami and Renaissance were two notable players. Konami had a reputation for being well-structured and supportive of its staff. On the other hand, Renaissance struggled with financial leaks and overspending.

Experts in the industry knew Konami was in a class of its own. They treated their staff fairly, including instructors, and sold off unprofitable land holdings. Renaissance, on the other hand, continued waste resources leak money for over a decade. By 2007, they could only offer short-term contracts with no benefits, took away staff locker rooms, and treated instructors differently than corporate employees, which negatively impacted talent retention.

Oasis trying to save Renaissance, but it was clear that the company was struggling. Comparing Konami and Renaissance is not helpful because they are too different. Instead, we should focus on Konami's strong business model fair treatment of employees as a positive example for the industry.

I completely understand why you feel discouraged. It's frustrating to see a decline in instruction quality and a focus on short-term gains over the well-being of its members. It's disheartening to see a once member-focused company prioritize profits over satisfaction. I hope that one day the company will realize that their true value lies in the happiness and satisfaction of its members and start prioritizing them again. Quality studio classes are crucial to retaining members in the long run.

Investors are excited about the possibility of increased stock value with Tokyu Sports Oasis' involvement, but it's crucial to acknowledge the potential risks. If the plan doesn't succeed, it could cause irreparable damage to the company. Even with institutional stock buying and other stabilizers, companies can still face unexpected challenges, as seen with the Renaissance group's disappointing performance and wasted capital over a 10-12 year period. It's imperative to learn from past mistakes and approach investment decisions with caution. While optimism is natural, being prepared for potential pitfalls is equally important.

  • I understand the concern about this site possibly being more geared toward role-playing than actual buying and selling. It's important to have factual information when making any transactions online. Yahoo has intended it to be this way.
