MADRID (MarketWatch) -- Apple Inc. /quotes/zigman/68270/quotes/nls/aapl AAPL -0.01% on Monday said it has sold over two million new iPhone 5 models in China, three days after its Dec. 14 launch. Apple said iPhone 5 will be available in more than 100 countries by the end of this month, making it the company's fastest iPhone rollout ever. "Customer response to iPhone 5 in China has been incredible, setting a new record with the best first weekend sales ever in China," said Tim Cook, Apple's chief executive officer. "China is a very important market for us and customers there cannot wait to get their hands on Apple products." That news came as Citigroup analysts cut shares to neutral and their share price target to $575 from $675, questioning the strength of the iPhone 5 and citing "risks in the Apple story."
